Axel Kicillof participó del inicio de la vacunación contra el Dengue
El Gobierno bonaerense inició este martes la campaña de vacunación contra el dengue para la población priorizada, mientras el virus continúa sin circulación en toda la provincia de Buenos Aires.
La campaña de vacunación fue iniciada formalmente este martes en el Hospital “Rodolfo Rossi” de la ciudad de La Plata, en una actividad encabezada por el gobernador Axel Kicillof y el ministro de Salud, Nicolás Kreplak.
Desde hoy hasta el 28 de octubre, los vacunatorios de la Provincia recibirán a los bonaerenses que fueron convocados para la inoculación. Los destinatarios encontrarán fecha y lugar de vacunatorio asignado en su correo electrónico.
Las personas que cumplen las condiciones para vacunarse contra el dengue son aquellas que tuvieron la enfermedad durante la temporada 2023-2024; que tienen entre 15 y 59 años y que viven en un municipio que integre el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA).
“La vacuna contra el dengue previene cuadros severos y mortales en personas que ya tuvieron la enfermedad, por eso Salud solicita a la población convocada a que se acerque al vacunatorio indicado”, señaló la cartera de Salud en un comunicado. Y recordó que quienes no hayan recibido el turno y cumplan con las condiciones, pueden solicitarlo ingresando en www.ms.gba.gov.ar/sitios/misalud.
Además, desde Provincia aclararon que quienes hayan tenido dengue hace poco tiempo deberán esperar seis meses para recibir la vacuna y que la inmunización está contraindicada durante el embarazo y la lactancia, así como para personas inmunocomprometidas o en tratamiento de quimioterapia o corticoides a altas dosis. Kicillof dijo hoy que “decidimos tempranamente adquirir vacunas e intensificar la campaña de prevención y respuesta en la provincia”. “El Gobierno nacional desertó y no tuvo ningún compromiso durante el año para tomar las medidas necesarias para prevenir el avance del dengue: actuó como siempre, con un grado de irresponsabilidad enorme”, cuestionó a la gestión de Javier Milei.
Durante la jornada en el Hospital Rossi de La Plata, las autoridades recorrieron también el área del nuevo resonador y los avances de la obra de ampliación de la farmacia del hospital, que sumará un consultorio de asesoría de farmacia para pacientes, nuevo dispensario para los medicamentos, lugar para la residencia, espacio para reuniones y un sector de alta seguridad para medicación costosa.

En las últimas horas, el Ministerio de Salud bonaerense publicó su último boletín epidemiológico en el que advirtió que la provincia de Buenos Aires no registra circulación de dengue u otros arbovirus.
La cartera señaló en el documento que “entre el 23 de junio (semana epidemiológica 26) y el 12 de octubre de 2024 (semana epidemiológica 39) se notificaron 808 casos compatibles con dengue de los cuales 3 fueron confirmados, 14 probables, 739 en estudio y 52 descartados”.
Los casos confirmados dos personas que cuentan con antecedente de viaje a México y a una que había estado en Brasil. En tanto, los probables son de las regiones sanitarias I (1), IV (1), V (2), VI (4), VII (1), XI (3) y XII (2). Los últimos casos probables reportados son de los municipios de La Plata y La Matanza.
