Bolívar: El Gran Campeón macho Pampinta se vendió en casi 700 mil pesos

El tercer Nacional de la raza ovina Pampinta se desarrolló este año en Bolívar, por una determinación de la Asociación de Criadores.
En este caso la Asociación de Criadores buscaron sacar la muestra de la provincia de La Pampa con el objetivo de difundir las muy buena cualidades de estos ovinos.
El Gran Campeón macho Pampinta encabezó el remate de ovinos peon Macho fue el primero en salir a la pista de ventas, obteniendo un precio de $ 680.000, subasta que dio inicio a la jornada de ventas en el pabellón destinado a esta especie. Este animal pertenece a la cabaña Don Horacio, que también se llevó el gran campeonato en hembras.
Pampinta es la única raza nativa del país, generada a través del cruzamiento de Corriedale y Texel en busca de una calidad eminentemente carnicera aunque sin restarle importancia a su triple propósito, porque además de esa virtud también le es propia su capacidad lechera y, obviamente, la producción de lana aunque de calidad inferior a la que genera el ovino lanero por excelencia, cual es el Merino en Argentina.
«Nos han tratado de maravillas en Bolívar», dijo el presidente de la Asociación Argentina de Criadores de Pampinta. «Todos, desde la comisión directiva de la Rural hasta la gente que se ha acercado a ver nuestros animales. La verdad que esta es una hermosa ciudad y su gente es maravillosa, así que no puedo menos que dar las gracias y, por supuesto, nuestra intención es volver».
