Un clásico de Olavarría: Primer Encuentro de Natación del 2025 en La Máxima
En la mañana del último sábado un importante marco de público pudo verse en torno al piletón del Bioparque Municipal La Máxima, donde se desarrolló el primer encuentro municipal de natación de la temporada 2024/2025, organizado desde la Subsecretaría de Deportes. La actividad contó con la participación de alrededor de una decena de colonias de verano y de vacaciones de todo el Partido de Olavarría, una propuesta no sólo recreativa, sino que además permite comenzar a conocer y seguir de cerca a nadadores y nadadoras locales, con vistas a integrar el Programa Municipal “Talentos en el Agua”, de acompañamiento y promoción de la disciplina.
El encuentro se desarrolló en horas de la mañana pero se prolongó hasta ya transcurrido el mediodía, con la participación no sólo de un importante número de chicos y chicas, una cifra superior a los 250, sino que también pudo verse a familiares, amigos y allegados. Además, el clima y el atractivo espacio municipal configuraron un marco ideal para una jornada plena en deporte y diversión.
En la ocasión se contó con representantes de las Colonias de Racing, Verano Feliz, Estudiantes, Afrika, Ubatuba, Loma Negra, Sakinko, Pueblo Nuevo y Los Zainos.
Durante la jornada se realizaron diversas pruebas de velocidad y competencias que fueron supervisadas por profesores del staff municipal, quienes integran además el Programa “Talentos en el Agua”, con el objetivo de comenzar a detectar y seguir a nadadores y nadadoras locales, con el objetivo de que a futuro puedan integrar dicho programa de acompañamiento y promoción de la disciplina, que permite a los chicos y chicas seleccionadas continuar con la práctica del deporte durante el año, entre otros beneficios.
El subsecretario de Deportes Juan Pablo Arouxet acompañó la actividad siguieron de cerca cada una de las alternativas de la actividad.
En la próxima semanas se desarrollará el segundo encuentro, del que serán parte chicos y chicas de las colonias de verano Ferro, La Docta, Pileta González, Verano Soñado (STMO), San Martín de Sierras Bayas, El Socavón, El Prado de Hinojo, Club de Sierra Chica y el Club El Fortín, como así también del Programa de Verano del Programa Municipal de Deporte en los Barrios, Escuelas Abiertas de Verano y la Colonia Municipal para los Centros de Día.
El Municipio de Olavarría agradece a cada una de las instituciones participantes por sumarse a la propuesta, como así también a los profesores y profesoras que integran el Programa.
