Una diputada PRO busca eliminar las fotomultas y debe casi $ 6 millones por infracciones
La diputada nacional Patricia Vásquez (PRO) presentó un proyecto de ley para declarar la emergencia vial y prohibir las fotomultas, mientras que debe casi $ 6 millones por 34 infracciones impagas.
La legisladora presentó el proyecto en las últimas horas y escribió en las redes sociales: “Chau fotomultas. Deben ser la excepción, no la regla. Lo importante es la seguridad vial no recaudar”.
Según publicó hoy el diario La Nación, tomando como referencia registros públicos, los vehículos registrados con el documento de identidad de la legisladora tiene 32 faltas en la provincia de Buenos Aires y dos en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. La mayoría de las infracciones son por exceso de velocidad.
“No las pagué porque nunca fui notificada. Uno de los autos se trata de un vehículo que yo no conduzco desde hace cuatro años. Una infracción de tránsito es una falta, no un delito. Se le imputa la responsabilidad al auto y no a la personas. De esas multas hay muchas que no hice yo”, se justificó Vásquez.
Y agregó: “Es un sistema nefasto, que llena los bolsillos de empresas, municipios y universidades. Hay un afán recaudador. Si cometí las faltas, ejerceré mi derecho de defensa”.
En su iniciativa de ley, la diputada busca unificar en todo el país la prescripción de las multas. En esa línea, pretende que se declaren nulas “las infracciones que sean detectadas a través de un sistema automático de control cuando no se encuentre debidamente señalizado y/o el acta no contenga todos los datos específicos de la infracción registrada”.
