Provincia amplia el reparto de alimentos
Tras un año muy complicado y en la previa a las fiestas de fin de año, el Gobierno bonaerense anunció una inversión superior a los $50.000 millones para duplicar los fondos del programa MESA (Módulo Extraordinario de Seguridad Alimentaria).
Así lo anunció el ministro de Desarrollo de la Comunidad, Andrés Larroque, quien también adelantó la entrega de canastas navideñas a partir de un desembolso de más de $12.500 millones y el lanzamiento del programa Fortalecer Envión para dotar de mejor equipamiento a las 595 sedes de Envión, iniciativa destinada a la inclusión de chicos y chicas de 12 a 21 años.
“En diciembre vamos a duplicar la inversión alimentaria a $50 mil millones que, sumada a la inversión del servicio alimentario escolar, llegaríamos este mes a $117 mil millones en política alimentaria”, dijo Larroque en conferencia de prensa. Y consideró que se trata de “un esfuerzo enorme que hacemos en un momento tan complejo y sensible como es esta época, para llevar alivio a las familias bonaerenses”.
“Multiplicamos los esfuerzos con estos importantes anuncios en una situación muy difícil en términos sociales por el castigo de las políticas del Gobierno nacional: estamos llevando alivio a las familias bonaerenses porque ese es el compromiso de un Estado provincial comprometido”, agregó.
El programa MESA consiste en la entrega de un módulo alimentario mensual que alcanza a unos 2,4 millones de niños, niñas y adolescentes que asisten a los miles de comedores escolares que funcionan en los establecimientos educativos.
Sobre las canastas navideñas, el ministro sostuvo que serán más de 1.000.000 que van a distribuir en coordinación con municipios, organizaciones comunitarias, clubes e iglesias “para garantizar que las familias más humildes puedan compartir los productos tradicionales de esta época del año en sus mesas Navidad y Año Nuevo”.
