Sierras Bayas: Tiene 43 años el hombre que sufrió un gravísimo accidente
Un gravísimo accidente se produjo en la madrugada de este domingo en el acceso a la localidad de Sierras Bayas, frente al Parque Matilde Catriel, de la localidad serrana.
A raíz del accidente un hombre de 43 años sufrió gravísimas heridas y se encuentra internado en el Hospital Municipal «Dr. Héctor M. Cura» donde fue trasladado de urgencia en una ambulancia del sistema público de salud.
El accidente
Las causas del grave accidente aún son motivo de investigación aunque se determinó que un hombre a bordo de un Citroën C3 circulaba por el acceso a Sierras Bayas cuando se despistó e impactó contra las columnas de un transformador de Coopelectric y lo derribó. El auto se partió en dos y terminó cayendo sobre un acantilado.
Personal de bomberos del destacamento de Sierras Bayas, que asistieron en la unidad 14 a cargo del oficial José Luis Galizio, extrajeron a la persona que conducía el vehículo.
Por otro lado, los voluntarios trabajaron en el lugar para extinguir el fuego en una de las partes del vehículo que quedó a la vera de la ruta. El otro pedazo del auto cayó sobre un barranco en un camino lindero al acceso a la localidad.
Los daños ocasionados en el transformador dejaron sin energía eléctrica a toda la localidad de Sierras Bayas. Trabaja en el lugar personal de Coopelectric: Hay columnas derribadas, transformadores caídos y cables cortados.
El hombre herido
En las primeras horas de la mañana de este domingo se confirmó la identidad del hombre que conducía el automóvil que fue protagonista de este gravísimo accidente.
Según se indicó el hombre permanece internado en el Hospital Municipal «Dr. Héctor M. Cura» con gravísimas heridas.
Se iniciaron actuaciones caratuladas como «Lesiones por accidente» que son llevadas adelante por la UFI N° 10.
El hombre herido fue identificado como Mauricio Jorge Waimann.
