Unidad 2: Dos dotaciones de bomberos trabajaron en un incendio que afectó a vivienda interna

Dos dotaciones provenientes del Cuartel Central de bomberos Juan Antonio Puebla de la ciudad de Olavarría, concurrieron alrededor de las 10, 30 horas en la mañana de este domingo a instalaciones del predio de la Unidad 2 del Servicio Penitenciario Bonaerense ubicada en la localidad de Sierra Chica.
En principio la Unidad 16 concurrió al lugar e inmediatamente pidió apoyo para que concurra la Unidad 26 cisterna para llegar al predio carcelario por el incendio de una vivienda.
El mismo se produjo a unos 50 metros del acceso a la Unidad 2 de Sierra Chica ubicada sobre la avenida Legorburu al 1800 de la mencionada localidad.
Los bomberos comenzaron a combatir el siniestro en una vivienda denominada de huéspedes que es utilizada por el personal del SPB para descansar. El siniestro se propagó a través del techo con la sede del casino de oficiales.
Aún trabajan a las 11.40 minutos los voluntarios en el lugar. Todavía no se han evaluado los daños efectuados por el siniestro.
Se cree que se inició por una falla eléctrica de un dispositivo de calefacción. También por prevención concurrió al lugar una ambulancia del servicio de salud pública municipal perteneciente a la localidad de Sierra Chica. Se hizo presente personal de la delegación municipal de Sierra Chica.
