Incendio en las sierras de Tandil: Helicópteros hidrantes de la provincia se suman al operativo

Helicópteros hidrantes de la provincia de Buenos Aires se sumaron en las últimas horas para trabajar en los incendios que se originaron en las sierras de Tandil y de esta manera se reforzó el operativo de control del fuego que habían desplegado Bomberos de la vecina localidad.
Para atacar las llamas trabajan personal de los cuerpos de Bomberos del Cuartel Central y Villa Italia, y bomberos voluntarios de Vela y Gardey.
Los trabajos están orientados en las inmediaciones del Cerro de la Cruz.
El jefe del operativo, Sub Comisario Diego Ibáñez, informó a la población de Tandil que “si bien actualmente el incendio está contenido, existen algunos focos activos en el flanco noreste y este, cercano a la Sierra de Las Ánimas”
Durante la madrugada se realizaron guardias de cenizas por un trayecto de aproximadamente 700 metros, se efectuaron tareas de recuperación e hidratación del personal.
En las inmediaciones del acceso a Villa del Lago se montaron dos bases operativas en conjunto con autoridades comunales, Defensa Civil, Cruz Roja y Same.
