Incendios en las sierras de Tandil: «la situación está contenida»
El intendente municipal de Tandil, Miguel Ángel Lunghi, sobrevoló este martes la zona de los incendios en las sierras de la vecina localidad y confirmó que la situación «está contenida.»
El fuego se inició en la tarde noche del martes y demandó una fuerte labor de Bomberos. En las primeras horas de la mañana de este miércoles llegaron a Tandil helicópteros del Ministerio de Seguridad de la provincia que ayudaron en el operativo.
Miguel Lunghi destacó luego de estar en la zona de los incendios: «a los esfuerzos de los cuerpos de bomberos de distintos destacamentos se sumó el accionar de tres helicópteros del Ministerio de Seguridad provincial que arrojan agua sobre la zona en la que se produjeron los focos de incendio, para colaborar con las tareas de control.»
Luego, el intendente Lunghi confirmó: «esta mañana la situación, que afectó a una zona de alrededor de 20 hectáreas está contenida, y se mantienen los trabajos en el lugar con personal especializado, para evitar su propagación, con recorridas terrestres y aéreas.»
Agregó el histórico alcalde radical que en las distintas recorridas terrestres y aéreas participaron efectivos de bomberos del Cuartel Central y Villa Italia, y los voluntarios de Vela y Gardey, a los que se sumaron de Balcarce y otros lugares de la región, además de brigadistas forestales provinciales que se encontraban abocados al Operativo Sol.
Al mismo tiempo, tomaron parte de las acciones personal policial, de la Policía Ecológica, con la colaboración de Defensa Civil, de la Cruz Roja, el SAME y de las áreas municipales de Control Urbano Vehicular, que restringió el tránsito en la zona del lago y de Vialidad Municipal, que con tres camiones de manera permanente asistió con riego y trabajo sobre los caminos.
Desde Defensa Civil se realizó un fuerte pedido de colaboración a la población para que no se acerque a la zona y evitar complicar los movimientos del personal afectado al control de la situación.
