Concejales se reunieron con el presidente del Circulo Médico: «la idea nuestra es ser de alguna manera facilitadores de la solución»
El presidente del Círculo Médico de Olavarría, Andrés Strata estuvo este miércoles reunido con los concejales y concejalas que integran la comisión de Salud del Concejo Deliberante.
La reunión fue calificada como «productiva» y se concretó 23 días después de iniciado el conflicto entre IOMA y FEMEBA que derivó en que más 25 mil afiliados de la obra social, de la noche a la mañana, se quedaran sin cobertura médica.
El encuentro entre concejales y el doctor Andrés Strata coincidió también con la jornada en la que el Círculo Médico emitió un comunicado donde mostró su disconformidad con la propuesta realizada por Co.Ce.Ba para llevar adelante un convenio de intermediación con el IOMA.
Tras la reunión en el HCD, el presidente de la comisión de Salud, concejal Agustín Romero habló con medios locales y allí contó algunos aspectos de la reunión y adelantó que para el próximo miércoles convocarán a otros actores del conflicto.
«La verdad que tuvimos una reunión muy productiva, muy productiva, muy bien predispuesto el doctor Strata. Se habló de todo, por supuesto que en la Comisión de Salud se han representado todos los bloques, así que cada uno puso su postura, el doctor Strata también defendió su postura, la postura también del Círculo Médico y de todos los médicos. Nos sacamos dudas, nosotros con él y él con nosotros. Fue una reunión beneficiosa para todos», dijo el médico veterinario Agustín Romero.
Agustín Romero expresó que durante la reunión el doctor Strata explicó como venían trabajando con FEMEBA y en la reunión se coincidió en que «no era la situación no era la ideal.» Dijo Romero, «este conflicto viene sin solución de hace 15 años, con diferentes gobiernos y diferentes directorios del IOMA y nunca se pudo solucionar, se tuvo que tomar está decisión. Cuando uno toma estas decisiones siempre es una situación incomoda, complicaciones, siempre que hay cambios hay que acostumbrarse a los cambios nuevos y hay que hacer nuevos arreglos con nuevos actores. Estamos en el medio de esas negociaciones.»
Según repasó el concejal Romero, Strata planteó que el «universo de médicos es muy heterogéneo, hay diferentes tipo de médicos que trabajan de diferente manera y obviamente tienen diferentes tipos de arreglos con las diferentes obras sociales, es un universo muy heterogéneo y muy difícil de conformar a todos.»
Romero afirmó que la parte «más vulnerable» de todo este conflicto son los pacientes y al respecto dijo, «están en una situación incierta y eso genera miedo, más a las personas que se están atendiendo en este momento.»
El concejal Agustín Romero resaltó el acuerdo entre el IOMA y las Clínicas Privadas que se dio mediante la intermediación del Co.Ce.Ba y que fue informado durante la jornada del martes.
Romero también se refirió a lo dicho por el doctor Andrés Strata respecto de la propuesta realizada por Co.Ce.Ba y que ya fue rechazada por el Círculo Médico: «ellos recibieron hacen un mes la oferta de Co.Ce.Ba, ellos hicieron una contrapropuesta también. Entiendo que están en esa negociación entre propuesta y contrapropuesta. El lunes hay una Asamblea entre médicos como para ver que decisión toman en base al ofrecimiento que le han hecho.»
Sobre el acuerdo de IOMA con el Co.Ce.Ba, Agustín Romero señaló: «de Co.Ce.Ba se tiene el antecedente de que trabaja con PAMI ya hace muchos años y con resultados bastante buenos, obviamente el universo de IOMA y de la provincia de Buenos Aires es diferente al del PAMI, una de las posibilidades es que se pueda trabajar de la misma manera que se trabaja con PAMI. Todo está en negociación y se está tratando de dar solución lo más rápido posible.»
El concejal Agustín Romero adelantó que aspiran a que el miércoles de la semana próxima puedan concurrir a la comisión de Salud, los referentes de IOMA y los referentes de Co.Ce.Ba.
