El Club Atlético River Plate, fundado el 25 de mayo de 1901, es una de las instituciones más relevantes del continente americano. En su palmarés cuenta con decenas de trofeos obtenidos a lo largo de estos más de 120 años de historia.

A lo largo de los años, han pasado varios técnicos de renombre por el banco del millonario, sin embargo, aunque su nombre haya quedado grabado en el recuerdo de sus hinchas por haber salido campeón son muy pocos los que quedarán en la historia grande del club.
Marcelo Gallardo: 14 títulos
Marcelo Gallardo, es el técnico más ganador de la historia riverplatense con 14 títulos y contando, ya que con su reciente vuelta al club buscará aumentar ese número. El “muñeco” llegó a River en 2014 y ese mismo año se consagró campeón de la Copa Sudamérica. En 2015 y 2018 alzó el trofeo más importante del continente, la Copa Libertadores. Cabe destacar que la obtención de la Libertadores 2018 fue ni más ni menos que ante el Club Atlético Boca Juniors, el cásico rival de toda la vida. La particularidad de estas noticias de River y Boca es que la Conmebol tomó la decisión de que la final se traslade al Santiago Bernabéu en Madrid, España.
El muñeco logró plasmar en el campo de juego una identidad con la cual los hinchas se encuentran identificados y se lo hacen saber con una ovación cada vez que Gallardo llega al banco de suplentes. Su reciente llegada para comenzar su segundo ciclo fue una de las noticias de River más importantes del año. Aquí abajo está el detalle de todos sus títulos:

Ramón Díaz: 9 títulos
El segundo técnico más exitoso es otro hijo de la casa, Ramón Ángel Díaz. El “pelado” como le dicen, llegó al club millonario en 1995 y logrando el siguiente año la segunda Copa Libertadores de la institución venciendo en la final al América de Cali.
En el ámbito local, Ramón Díaz lograría otro hito destacable como lo fue el recordado tri – campeonato. Esto fue posible gracias a que River terminó como el mejor equipo del Apertura 96, Clausura 97 y Apertura 97. En ese año también se coronó campeón de la Supercopa Sudamericana al vencer a San Pablo.
Ramón tuvo tres mandatos en River, el primero de ellos fue desde el 96 al 2000, el segundo del 2001 a 2002 y el tercero y último de 2013 a 2014 donde obtuvo su ultima conquista con la banda roja. Estos son todos los títulos que cosechó:

José María Minella: 8 títulos
Para cerrar el podio se encuentra José María Minella. Don Pepe fue uno de los directores técnicos de “La máquina”, equipo que fue ganador de diez títulos oficiales durante la década de 1940, y que es comúnmente considerada por la prensa especializada como el mejor equipo de su época.
José María empezó su paso por River en 1947 y lo dirigió durante 12 años consecutivos, y exitosos, para cerrar su ciclo en 1959. En este período de tiempo, los millonarios se quedaron con los torneos argentinos de liga de 1947, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956 y 1957. Entre su palmarés también se destaca la Copa Aldao, título internacional que obtuvo en 1947 tras vencer a Nacional de Montevideo 4 – 3 en Uruguay y 3 – 1 en El Monumental.
